Recent Health Risks in the Society |
The world shook when AH1N1 or swine flu virus hit countries like Mexico, the United States, Hong Kong, and other parts of Asia. Advisories were widespread to create a heightened level of awareness so people will know what to do to prevent it. As we belong in a society that is more aware of its surroundings and neighbouring countries, the spread of the word about the Swine Flu virus was quick and easy. It made people more vigilant in the fight to stop its spread. Moreover, it had reduced the number of fatalities caused by this evil virus. Thus, humanity should be thankful for the kind of society that we have today – a society that is more mindful of how to make life better and easier for everyone and for generations to come.
