You can save yourself the hassle of driving and going the extra mile just to be able to exercise. The solution to this is creating your own fitness room in your home. You can take up the space that does not get much use like the basement.
The first thing you need to do is clean out the place. Just by carrying the boxes around and moving other things is a workout enough for you. Next, cushion the floor with a soft material like carpet tiles or exercise mats.
When you are done setting up the place, you can set your equipment. You can also place a television and DVD player if you have exercise videos.
