Capturing Lean |
Picture taking and video coverage is almost always part of every memorable occasion. With the advent of digital cameras and camcorders, important highlights of an event can now easily be easily immortalised in different media. The images serve a very sentimental purpose that is why every captured picture is caught with precision. Every single detail of it is taken closely. Some may even prepare themselves for a big event in anticipation for the pictures, that is, being on a diet for them to look more pleasant in the images. But in cases when you ran out of time for fasting, you may want to try these techniques that will help you look slimmer in the lens.
Slightly pose sideways, putting your foot in front and the other at the back and giving much of the weight on the latter. This position catches only some of your body’s width and somewhat creating an illusion of being leaner.
Draw the head forward to avoid evident double chins.
Slightly spread off the arms away from the body. This technique prevents flattening of the upper arm when it is held close to the body.
Avoid posing on couches that will even out your thighs for this one widens the appearance of your legs. If ever you are caught with it, then at least lift off your legs.
Stand up straight, that is pull your shoulders back with the chest out and stomach in. Just be careful not to overdo this because it might be obvious that you are trying so hard to hide some bulge.
Never allow the camera to be positioned lower you. This can add at least 20 pounds on your appearance.
Use purses and bags to cover what you want to hide. You may do it on your waistline or put on an over coat or jacket for bigger shoulders.
Makes sense, right? Surely, seeing yourself looking so well in those kept remembrances will make you feel proud to those to others your photos.
